Dr. Elizabeth grew up in Ada, Michigan. She graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula, Montana in 2006 with her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Political Science. In 2007 she completed a 1288-hour medical massage program and earned her national board certification in manual therapy. In November 2012, Dr. Elizabeth graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West Campus in San Jose, California with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. During her time at Palmer West, Dr. Elizabeth founded and presided over several clubs including the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress, public health, and neurology club.
