Head Rush Salon

Head Rush Salon was established in 2014 by stylist Jennifer Herrera, who had previously worked for six years of her ten year career at Hepkat Beauty Parlor in downtown San Luis Obispo. When the opportunity arose for her to open her own salon, she “rushed” toward it. The name for the salon was inspired by the “Hollywood Tower of Terror” ride at Disney’s California Adventure. “When I got off the ride, I told my fiancé, ‘That is the definition of a head rush! You hit every level!’”

At Head Rush, we strive to provide a salon that is different, comfortable, and professional. We are passionate about hair and beauty, and each of our stylists has at least five years behind the chair.
