Smith Iron Works has been providing custom built wrought iron fences, gates, awnings, and more in upstate South Carolina since 1958. Smith Iron Works is a family owned and operated iron works business, fence contractor, and metal fabricator, with more than 50 years of experience in providing excellent design and workmanship for each and every project undertaken, and has become well known across Upstate South Carolina for its unique one-of-a-kind designs. Founded by the late Joe Smith, Smith Iron Works is now in its fifth decade under the direction and ownership of Joe’s son, Mark D. Smith.
Our skilled handyman and welder use pure and raw iron in canopies, air condition guards, hand rail gates, handicapped, among many others. All decorative wrought iron fencing installed by Smith Iron Works is custom made at our plant in Moore SC. We custom manufacture every aspect of our products because no two homes, yards, spaces or applications are the same.We proudly serve homes and businesses in communities across Upstate South Carolina, Western North Carolina, Greenville, Anderson, and Northeast Georgia. Our custom made products can also be ordered and shipped to anywhere in the country so long as prior arrangements are made.
