With over 39 years in practice as a podiatrist, Dr. Gindi is a trusted practitioner. He began his career after earning his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. He went on to train extensively in surgical foot procedures, where he gained extensive experience in lower limb surgical procedures.
To enhance his education and experience, Dr. Gindi finished additional training. He’s certified in endoscopic plantar fasciotomy and shockwave therapy and is a certified pedorthist, enabling him to help patients with modified footwear for added support for chronic conditions.
Not only does Dr. Gindi offer routine and preventive foot care, including diabetic foot care management, but he also specializes in modern conservative therapies and treatments. Dr. Gindi even performs advanced laser procedures and in-office ambulatory surgery, as well as minimally invasive surgery, when needed.
Being fluent in English and moderately fluent in Spanish gives Dr. Gindi the opportunity to care for patients from a variety of backgrounds. He has staff privileges at Northwell Plainview Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital in Bethpage.
