Willie Clark founded his namesake "Clark's Moving" in White Plains, NY in 1928 with borrowed capital and a few friends to help as furniture movers, at a time when the modern household goods relocations industry in Westchester, NY was its relative infancy. Prior to the advent of large tractor trailer trucks, corporate-owned van line moving companies and increased industry regulations, "Clark's" became a locally prominent household name throughout Westchester, NY
