Our new plan lowered our premium cost by two thirds, encourages tax-deductible saving, and we aren`t faced with the use it or lose it proposition of the old flexible spending account. And, our carrier negotiates, on our behalf, the final cost of medical services such that even if we hit the maximum annual deductible, we would still spend less than our former HMO style plan!
