Therefore, people and patients in the United States should be aware that Alternative Medicine is available to them not only as an alternative to Western medicine but as a profoundly powerful and sophisticated healing system without equal in the West. In actuality, acupuncture is neither Eastern nor Western - it exists for everyone who wishes to take advantage of its healing power. My professional mission is to educate and treat as many people as possible with Alternative Medicine so that disease can be truly resolved instead of merely palliated.

Paul G Rathe, MS, LAc is a nationally board certified and licensed acupuncturist who began his studies in alternative medicine in 1975 as an herbalist's apprentice. He graduated from Tri-State College of Acupuncture in New York in 1988 after attending a clinical year at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He was board certified by NAAC in 1988 and received his Masters in Science in Acupuncture in 2000. He has been practicing Japanese style acupuncture and Western herbal medicine for over twenty-one years. In 2003 he became certified in NAET (Nambudripad's Allergy Elimination Techniques) resulting in many patients having their lifelong allergies permanently eliminated with this innovative technique.
