The area's ONLY purpose built music rehearsal facility invites you to come down and make some music! Whether you are a beginner looking for lessons, or a veteran looking for a place to practice, Bay 1 Studios is here to help. Located in Charlottesville, Virginia, just a short walk from the Historic Downtown Mall, we open our doors daily to instructors and their students, and stay open for bands to rehearse late into the evening. Our mission is to provide a facility which exceeds the needs of our community of musicians, and foster the growth of that community through private instruction and direct exposure to a variety of local talent. We offer students of all ages beginner and intermediate instruction in Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano, Voice, Violin, Cello, Fiddle, Banjo, Songwriting, and Music Theory. All of our instructors are working professional musicians who combine real world experience with years of training to provide a complete and rounded platform from which to teach. They pride themselves on tailoring their lessons to meet the needs and motivations of the student. It's never too early or too late to pick up an instrument!
