Fly Corona

Fly Corona is an FAA approved flight school that offers flight training toward pilot certification under the provisions of 14 CFR 61 and 141. We are located 45 miles east of Los Angeles, California, and are within a 30 minute drive from most areas of Orange County, Los Angeles County, and the Inland Empire. We operate our flight school out of Corona Municipal Airport, a non-towered field right at the edge of the Los Angeles terminal area - home to one of the busiest and most complex airspaces in the world. At Corona Municipal Airport, pilots can expect to spend no more than 5 minutes in the run up area before taking to the skies - saving pilots from that expensive downtime they could have found waiting for tower clearances - and have the option to depart to the west learning how to navigate the complex airspace. It's really the best of both worlds. We offer Introductory Flights, Ground Instruction, Flight Instruction (Private, Instrument, and Commercial), Aircraft Rental, Biennial Flight Reviews, Instrument Proficiency Checks, and Pilot Supplies (Aeronautical Charts & Publications).
