Hi, my name is Dan Polizzi, guitar teacher and owner of North Metro Music Studios. I am a graduate of Indiana University's School of Music, have been playing guitar for more than 20 years and have over a dozen years teaching experience.

As a teacher, I have a very straight forward, 'easy to progress' approach that works great with any age of student, ranging from beginning to advanced levels in the styles of acoustic, electric, finger picking, blues, rock, folk, classical, and Celtic finger style. We'll always have fun and before you know it, you'll be playing everything from AC/DC to Jim Croce! I have also held a student recital for my kids every fall since 2004. Some who participated had only been playing guitar for a couple of months!

As you can see, we offer a wide range of instruments and cater to beginners as well as advanced players. If you have ever thought about learning to play an instrument, you’ve found the right place!
