J and P Holdings is an insurance holding company located in Bedford Park, Illinois. J and P owns a life and health insurance company (United Security Life and Health), a property casualty insurance company (First Chicago Insurance Company), four managing general agencies (First Chicago Insurance Agency, First Chicago Insurance Services, Lone Star Managing General Agency and United Security Agency), a retail agency (RedRock Insurance Agency of Texas), a commercial insurance broker (Hallberg Commercial Insurors), a financial services agency (Hallberg Benefits and Group Health) and wholesale broker (Hallberg Insurance Network).

Preferred Risk Insurance Services, Inc., is a company providing service for other insurance companies or related entities of the J and P Holdings Company.

J and P was founded in 1980 by James P. Hallberg. Today J and P and its subsidiaries serve thousands of customers in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Texas, Nebraska and Arizona.
