At Alpine Orthopaedic & Spine in Spokane Wa, our mission is to provide our patients with the latest proven orthopaedic and spine care, with an emphasis on the management of the adult spine, sports medicine, arthroscopy, fracture management and joint surgery. Although we offer surgical options for the care of the spine and the extremities, we engage the well-qualified local resources that are available for the non-operative management of the neuro-musculosketal system as a first line of treatment when appropriate. Our orthopaedic and spine surgeon, Dr. Miguel Schmitz, MD, is board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and he has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine from the same Board. He is fellowship trained in both Spine Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine & Arthroscopy.
