Even from the beginning Dorinda has had a passion for defending others. Since graduating in the top 15% of her class from the prestigious University of Washington in 1987, she has become admitted to the bar in four different states: Washington, South Dakota, Minnesota, and California. In almost 30 years of practicing law she has served in different capacities, with criminal law and defending civil rights becoming her forte, as well as taking on contracts as a public defender. She has also inspired others with her passion as a law professor for more than eight years at Columbia College and Brandman University.

In 2015, Dorinda was named by Palm Springs Life Magazine as one of the Coachella Valley top criminal defense attorneys. This honor is a result of the fact that she loves what she does and will work tirelessly to make sure that you have the best representation in and out of the courtroom as her client reviews prove.
