Allstate Insurance Agent: Cathy West

Despite growing up in a family who owned an insurance agency, I studied marketing in college before realizing I also had a passion for insurance. I learned the ropes at the family business and then, in 1981, started working with Allstate. I’ve been with the company ever since! That same year I married my husband, David, and moved to Palm Beach Gardens.

This is where we opened The West Agency and raised our son, who is now a veterinarian. I try to give back to the community as much as possible. I work with the Celiac Foundation, and the agency sponsors teen safe driving events and works with the Allstate Foundation and the Dori Slosberg Foundation. We also run food drives and support Goodwill Industries and Toys for Tots.
