Byron G. Cornelius has been an attorney in our desert community since early 1992. But, he was first admitted to practice law in the State of California in June, 1983. Prior to being admitted to practice law, he served as both a process server and law clerk for Davies, Barwick, & Knowlton a well-respected and long term law firm in Lemon Grove, (San Diego County) California; this while attending law school and graduating with scholastic merit from Western State University (now Thomas Jefferson) College of Law in San Diego.

But, Byron is not just about the law and rules. Prior to becoming an attorney, Byron worked his way through an education working as a busboy, cook’s helper, dishwasher, pool-cleaner, and custodian. He even served in the U.S. Navy for four years; serving as a Torpedo Man on the U.S.S. Scamp, a nuclear submarine during the Viet Nam War. In other words, Byron is not afraid of hard work and he will give you a targeted answer when called upon.
