Gilberto Alvarez del Manzano MD

Dr. Alvarez is dual board certified in Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Society. Dr. Alvarez holds faculty appointments at NYU and Mount Sinai Hospitals where he teaches the dermatology residents to diagnose and manage skin condition on adults and pediatric patients. He has authored several articles which have been published in dermatology peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Alvarez specializes in the treatment of rashes such as psoriasis, eczema, contact dermatitis, urticaria and itching. He also treats conditions such as acne, rosacea and sexually transmitted diseases. He performs surgical procedures for removal of warts and cysts.

Dr. Alvarez is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
