Doug McBride PhotoCinema

Doug McBride PhotoCinema is owned and operated by Douglas McBride in Des Moines, Iowa. Doug attended The University of Iowa in the Fine Arts Department of Photography and Motion Picture Film from 1980 to 1987. He shoots photography as art and began displaying prints in art galleries locally. He started his business called Custom Productions, and began photographing and videotaping weddings and concerts during this time. After graduation, Doug spent a year working on Hollywood films and a spent few more years in television production. Before moving to Des Moines, he began booking and promoting motion picture films in the Midwestern United States. Deciding that Des Moines was a great city to live in and a wonderful location to work, Doug opened Custom Productions in Des Moines, Iowa in 1993. The business is currently named Doug McBride PhotoCinema.
