Pain Management & Rehabilitation Physical Medicine

Our office provides comprehensive Rehabilitation services for patients of all ages, from people with acute or chronic pain, to musculoskeletal disorders, arthritis, work injuries, automobile accidents, etc. We offer professional expertise and the most sophisticated diagnostic and rehabilitation equipment available. Our goal is to maximize the functioning and well-being of our patients, in a modern, comfortable environment. The office is headed by Laurian Jacoby, M.D., who is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Diplomat of the American Association of Pain Management. We have on our premises a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and an experienced Psychologist. Patients are usually seen by Dr. Jacoby, for a comprehensive evaluation. In many cases, this is followed by the appropriate diagnostic testing to make a correct diagnosis. Whenever warranted, Dr. Jacoby will request the services of other specialty physicians, who together will assess all injuries and determine the appropriate course of treatment. Treatment programs are designed specifically to meet each patient's individual needs. Our physical therapy department is headed by licensed Physical Therapists, who are highly skilled in treating all injuries. A therapist is always present to monitor the therapy in progress, and to instruct patients in a series of exercises to be followed at home. For your convenience, we accept most forms of medical insurance including Medicare, HMO's, Worker's Comp and No Fault.
