Cress Gas Co

Cress Gas Co. is a family owned and operated business. Servicing customers since 1939, the gas department began as an addition to a small radio store. However, it quickly grew during the 1940's and 1950's and by 1963, Cress Gas Co. discontinued sales of non-propane related items and concentrated on bulk delivery of propane. These changes streamlined operations, making Cress Gas Co. more efficient and capable of supplying propane and service equipment to a larger customer population. With both the addition of computers in 1980 and the acquisition of another company, we continued to expand. Finally, in the 1990's Cress Gas Co. quadrupled propane storage by adding eight 30,000-gallon storage tanks. This investment allowed us to provide customers with a continuous supply of propane during temporary supply shortages.
