I was born in Chicago, Illinois and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Iowa in 1975. I graduated from the University Of Miami School Of Law and have been in private practice in south Florida since 1978. I have been lead counsel in jury trials in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, the Florida Keys, Tampa, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Kissimmee. I have represented individuals before the Florida Supreme Court and in various Federal Courts, including those in Florida, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, Louisiana, California, Georgia and the District of Columbia. I am a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and The American Immigration Lawyers Association.
