Tree Country

History started in 2011, Tree Country, LLC is a family and community-centered company that serves the greater Seattle area from Bothell to Renton and offers everything from tree pruning and removal to stump grinding and free wood chips. Tree Country uses top-of-the-line equipment combined with a well-trained friendly crew to tackle even the most difficult jobs. Tree Country began when owner, Tim Kelly, saw a need in the industry for an honest and reliable service. A lifelong entrepreneur with a background in plumbing, construction and real estate, his passion for business drives him to learn everything he can about a specific industry and see what he can do to improve it. When he investigated the tree service industry, he found a lot of deceptive practices. He soon discovered that many companies were using the fear of the wind and heavy promotion of wind-sail reduction to sell their services. It took only a few months for him to discover this wasn't accurate or fair to the customer. Instead, what he learned was that a large percentage of the trees that need to be pruned don't need wind-sail reduction. Seeing an opportunity to set things right, Tim decided to change the game and Tree Country was born. To him what this meant was not only running a business with good old fashioned values and a strong work ethic, but also changing the way servicing trees was being done. The end result is a company that embodies a unique blend of traditional customer service along with the latest cutting edge technology, a real win for the customer. From the visual tree assessment to the spotless yard at the end of the job, Tim's fastidiousness and care for every aspect of the job is apparent. His respect for his customers takes priority over straight sales as evidenced by his policy to only approach customers when they have trees with a high likelihood of failure.
