Dr. David R Kerr, DDS in Portland, ME; our goal in my practice is to provide you with comprehensive care that focuses on your long term health. To make that a reality, we work together so that you understand your oral health. I am an expert advisor to you. I am here to answer your questions. I practice using the most up to date techniques and evidenced based research. Everyone at the office, from making your first appointment to continued care, focuses on providing you with the information and care that you need to maintain a healthy mouth. Dr. Kerr has always focused on esthetics as well as function in dentistry feeling that they are part the whole. In 1987 before esthetic dentistry was emphasized, he had custom shaded filling materials made for him to use. In 2002 he started to use CEREC technology allowing more effective, conservative, and esthetic treatments. Most crowns can be made in one visit. He feels strongly that delivery of excellent care can be accomplished by combining personal relationships with the use of technology to enhance care. He has continued his interest in decision science as it applies to clinical decision making.
