Chi-Wai Au MSW Med

Chi-Wai Au is a registered Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW # 36351) who holds a B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College, as well as a M.Ed. from UCLA and M.S.W. from California State University, Dominguez Hills. He is supervised by Ken Howard, LCSW (CA License #18290) and specializes in working with gay men. He has provided counseling to LGBT youth and worked in community-based HIV prevention programs, with a focus on gay men and communities of color. He uses a strength-based, gay affirmative therapy approach, for individuals and gay male couples, and is highly attuned to issues of diversity and social justice in his clinical practice.
