Micki Grimland - Southwest Psychotherapy Associates

Southwest Psychotherapy Associates, P.A. was started in 1986 by Micki Grimland, LCSW, ACSW in Houston, Texas. As the owner and chief psychotherapist, she has grown her practice to include five other talented practitioners specializing in various modalities.

We believe the mark of good therapy is a balanced approach of compassion and safety with a strong dose of confrontation which will lead to integration and accomplishment of your goals. We recognize that psychotherapy is expensive and time consuming. Our intention is to create a therapeutic environment that will aid you in opening up, focusing on the primary issues and getting them resolved in a timely manner.

We believe that people are "whole", a synergy of history, experience, and dreams for the future.
