About 3-4 years ago when I retired, I took everything I got out of my 401K. I thought that when I got the money the tax was deducted. I was incorrect. The Internal Revenue Service is a large monster. Knowing they are the biggest collection agency in America didn’t frighten me. What scared me was that I am to pay them money and I had no idea what they would do to make me pay it. The last letter I received stated that I owed a little over $36,000.
