St Matthew School & Day Care

St. Matthew Lutheran School offers a spiritual and learning experience for your Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K to Kindergarten child while providing the capital district area a qualified day care facility close to downtown Albany. We provide care for children between the ages of 3 years through 12 years. Our Program includes a number of exciting options for Parents. Three-Year old Program: This is a year of many first experiences for your child. Perhaps it is the first time your child has left your watchful care for more than a very short period of time. Maybe it is the first time he has not been with just family members. Maybe this is the first time she has been in the company of more than one or two other children at a time. One things for sure, this is the first real preschool experience for your child and every other child in the 3 Year Preschool Program. St. Matthew Lutheran School is fortunate to have long term staff. Our six teachers have taught on site for eight to thirty-five years. They are God loving individuals who love our children. The caring atmosphere is evident as you walk through our building. There is never any reason to worry about a situation that may have occurred during the school day because teachers give their home telephone numbers to our parents. Open communication is very important to the emotional and physical health of our children.
