Claudio Pelc founded Calumet Auto Parts in 1975. Initially it was a one-man operation working out of a trailer. Business grew rapidly and the trailer was replaced in 1976 with a 3,000 square foot office and warehouse building. By 1981, a second building was necessary. This 8,000 square foot building housed a 2,000 square foot office and sales area, and a 6,000 square foot warehouse. As business continued to grow, Calumet Auto Parts continued to expand and in 1992 a 4,800 square foot, 4-story building was added to meet the demand. Claudio attributes this fast growth to “making customer satisfaction our top priority”. Currently, our 15 loyal, knowledgeable and dedicated employees are ready to serve you with all your recycled auto parts needs.

Our inventory is generally composed of late model vehicles (5 to 10 years old). We also specialize in domestic, foreign, light duty trucks and SUVs. In our 5-acre yard, we store hundreds of vehicles. Our computerized yard management system enables us to provide you with fast, accurate information on millions of parts. Many of these parts are on the shelves ready for delivery. We also offer free nationwide locating service for the hard to find parts. We have daily UPS, Spee Dee, and other common carriers for prompt shipment to your home or business.
