She served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute for three years as a member of the Oculoplastics department.In 2012 she returned to her native Southern California to be closer to her family and open her practice. She is a member of numerous societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the California Medical Association, and the Riverside County Medical Association.In 2016 she was inducted as a fellow to the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. This is a highly specialized group of surgeons whose expertise focuses on the eyelids, orbit, and lacrimal systems.Membership is approved after completion of a rigorous fellowship as well as a thesis, written board examination, and oral board examination. She has also been voted one of America's Top Ophthalmologists from 2012-2017 and a Palm Springs Life Top Doctor since 2017.
