Blinds Production

Blinds production has been in business since 1938 and was owned and managed by Isaac Gelardin who we like to call "papu". We have manufactured and sold window treatments in the New York City metropolitan area for over 3 decades.

Our products have decorated window treatments at the "Americano Hotel" in Chelsea, The Plaza residences on Central Park South through downtown to the Edge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and the Ritz in Battery Park. We did it with no marketing; Papu’s products had their own wings. In 2001, Mr. Zac Gelardin, grandson of Papu’s became head of marketing (not production!) . Grandpa Isaac is still in charge of production and refuses to let any single product- including our roller shade, Mac roman valance or ripple fold curtains, leave our fabric room without his review. That’s why his customers return to him time after time, window after window.
