As a board-certified ophthalmologist, Kim Doan, MD, offers expert eye health care with a personalized touch at Advanced Eyecare of Orange County in Huntington Beach and Newport Beach, California. Dr. Doan serves patients from the age of 12 through their golden years with comprehensive eye exams, testing, and imaging services to protect their eye health and vision.
Dr. Doan is a native Californian and completed her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences at the University of California, Irvine. She earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City. Dr. Doan went on to serve her ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. She also completed a rigorous research fellowship in ocular pathology at the John A. Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Doan provides highly personalized attention working as a partner in health care for her patients. She takes time to explain eye health issues and answer questions, ensuring that her patients understand their needs and treatment options. 
Outside of her practice, Dr. Doan enjoys staying active by running, skiing, snowboarding, scuba diving, and practicing pilates.
