The Gold Eagle... is delightfully located on spacious grounds, less than one mile north of Lake George Village. We can be easily accessed from I87, only a quarter mile from exit 22. Close to the Village and area attractions, but out of the busy village. You can leave your car at your cottage and travel on the Trolley which, for an extremely reasonable fare, travels both north and south of the Village to area attractions. Discounts tickets to The Great Escape are available to registered guests.
There are 15 individual Air Conditioned cottages spaciously located on over three acres of property each with their own porch, barbeque grill and outdoor table. We offer a 50 foot pool located near our play area (swings and sandbox) away from the road offering privacy and quiet relaxation. Sandy beach areas on beautiful Lake George are within minutes by car. Sorry, No Pets Allowed.
Saratoga with its horse racing and Performing Arts Center is just half an hour away via the thruway.
