Prior to joining the defense bar, Bruce served as the elected District Attorney for the Northeastern Judicial Circuit of Georgia. He went on to serve as Chief of the Public Corruption/Integrity Section for the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida. During his final year with the Justice Department, Bruce was selected to serve as an Associate Independent Counsel in Washington, D.C., during the Whitewater investigation.
