In short, tradittional fiberglass or cellulose simply can not equal the performance that only closed cell foam offers.
For non-coastal areas and rooflines, open cell foam is an excellent value option. Offering excellent air sealing and acoustical qualities, homes insulated with open cell foam will out perform traditional materials by 30-50%.
