Melt Bakery

Melt bakery is a new and innovative venture developed by Julian Plyter and Kareem Hamady. Julian is an experienced pastry chef who has worked at lever house restaurant, lure fishbar and most recently at the crosby street hotel. His need to share exciting flavors with people is second only to his dedication to exploring them. Kareem is an idea guy whose keen business acumen shares brain space with a passionate and ongoing quest for our galaxy's most satisfying foods.

Created and conceptualized on manhattan's lower east side, melt bakery debuted at the hester street fair in June 2010, introducing three ice cream cookie sandwiches using good ole fashioned cookies and artisanal ice creams.
