Our Story

Current Home, owned by three Scarsdale women, Alyson Lane, Karen Tolchin and Michele Brettschneider, is the evolution of A&M Table. A&M began in the spring of 2010 when Alyson and Michele teamed up to bring modern tabletop decor and home accessories to the local marketplace. As the business grew, Karen joined A&M and helped take it to it’s new expanded location. With the move, A&M changed it’s name to Current Home.

Current Home still sells the hip yet timeless tableware and home accessories its customers have come to love, but it has introduced accent furniture, such as bar carts, lighting, hide rugs, leather benches and poofs. Colorful Glitter art by Camomile Hixon is also available.

The new name Current Home better reflects our philosophy – to create a stylish sophisticated collection for modern living by giving our customers a fresh take on tableware and home accessories.
