Jackson Pharmacy Solutions is located at Jackson Memorial Hospital and provides continuity of care for specialty patients, including transplant, oncology and special immunology patients within the Jackson Health System. The pharmacy will offer service to specialty care patients with individual medication counseling by a pharmacist, assistance with financial and insurance matters, and assistance in enrolling eligible patients in financial assistance programs when possible. By utilizing the same software and pharmacist supervision, JHS offers integrated care with a focus on increasing medication compliance, ensuring appropriate medication utilization, and preventing readmissions due to avoidable rejection or infection in patients.

Prescriptions delivery is available to both the bedside and by mail to the patients’ home or may be picked up at the pharmacy conveniently located on the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center campus. The pharmacy program offers continued follow-up to ensure adherence and compliance and assists with any medication concerns the patient may have. Other services offered include an automated refill line, a dedicated number to call regarding questions or concerns about prescription medication and a website for requesting refills. The service provides individualized and compassionate care to specialty patients.

The Pharmacy offers a wide selection of products including: prescription drugs, compounded products, specialty drugs, injectables, nutritional products, diabetes supplies, blood pressure monitors, nebulizers, wound care and ostomy supplies.
