Dr. Ghaleb is the only Mayo Clinic fellowship trained pain management physician in the state of Arkansas and has performed more than 4,000 procedures in the field of pain management. Before going to Mayo Clinic, he trained at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Well known nationally and internationally as an expert in the treatment of pain and author to more than 90 national and international pain journal publications, Dr. Ghaleb was voted by his peers as one of the Best Doctors in America every year from 2009 to 2012. In addition, he was voted best pain doctor in Arkansas multiple years. Dr. Ghaleb was recruited from the Mayo Clinic to create the pain management service at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in 2002 where he was a professor and the director of pain management for 10 years. Currently, Dr. Ghaleb still holds an adjunct professor position at UAMS.
