Lighting Maintenance Inc is an electrical and lighting contractor. Founded in 1991 by Hilary and Michael Yoder, the company has steadily grown over the past 20+ years to today’s size of approximately 170 employees. It currently maintains about 200,000 lights in its service area. LMI is licensed in Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC, with a skill set that includes construction and maintenance of roadway lighting, utility infrastructure, commercial lighting, traffic signals, security cameras, navigational lighting systems, directional drilling, bridge maintenance, and all types of electrical systems.

Lighting Maintenance Inc provides and implements lighting efficiency strategies for commercial, industrial, governmental, and retail buildings and associated parking areas. To accomplish this we perform a complete lighting audit measuring light levels, energy consumption, and maintenance costs. With this information we create a Lighting Master Plan that specifies an appropriate lighting technology, control system, and return on investment. Once installed the property’s energy consumption, maintenance cycle, and carbon footprint will be greatly reduced.
