Believe it or not.......when you flip your steer tires once you notice significant shoulder wear , you can gain an extra 40,000 miles or more and take the vibration out of the tires. I've done it for customers many times and it works!!!!!!!!

​​keep your tires at the recommended tire pressure.Each (1) psi. decrease causes a percentage of your fuel cost to increase.You will lose up to 9 cents or more on the gallon,so keep your tires properly inflated!!!!!!!!! Also improper tire pressure causes irregular wear,vibration,belt separation and blow outs. When it gets hot, air pressure goes up,when its cold, the pressure goes down.check your air pressure daily and try your best to keep them at the air pressure the tire tells you and you shouldn't have any major problems with your tires.

Another important key is to rotate your tires every 50,000 miles to keep your tires wearing evenly.If you cant afford that at least rotate them when you begin to see improper wear. The x effect is the highest rotation form recommend.This is when you take your 2 tires on the (left front driver side) to the (right rear passenger side) then the (right front passenger side to the (left rear driver side.)Another way to put it is LEFT FRONT TO RIGHT REAR AND RIGHT FRONT TO LEFT REAR.
Invest a few dollars into a tire depth gauge.You can get these at any auto parts store.When the lowest part of your tires get to be around 6/32nds get a new set, if you try to go any lower you risk safety and trade in.Each tire can get you 25 to 65 dollars a peace if in decent shape.
