Yesterday I had a visit from an IRS office and today I called these people. I am so glad I did. If I had to deal with this officer alone, I have no idea what I would have done. He was exploring my property and writing things down. I need to pay over $100K for a business deal from several years ago. I should have taken care of it, but just kept putting it off. I became very upset as soon as I received a garnishment on my wages. I didn't realized that my tax issue had gone so past due. I knew it was bad, but didn’t know it was SO bad.
