Dr. Desman is a double board certified plastic surgeon. He received his certification from the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1999 and was recertified in 2009 and 2019. In order to achieve board certification, Dr. Desman was required to undergo extensive training in the field of plastic surgery and take rigorous examinations evaluating his mastery of the specialty.
