I had a horrible experience when I leased an apartment from crystal realty. I signed up for a short 6 month lease and inspected an apartment that appeared to be adequate for a single person. My first week I had to call up the realty company because there the flooring in my kitchen was coming off, the carpet smelled bad and looked filthy, and the I noticed a bunch of roaches in my kitchen cupboards. I complained and in time the realty company took care of the issues. When I questioned them about whether I'd get any money refunded from my rent for all the inconveniences, the lady manager I spoke to was quite stern and rude and said I wouldn't get any money back. I'm sorry, but when I signed the lease contract, I was promised in their office that the apartment would be clean and ready for move in on my move in date. It's been over a month and I'm still trying to wrangle my bond from them, they were very quick to take my money and they're taking their sweet time returning it.
