Radio Doctor Illawarra

Radio Doctor Illawarra is the leading after hours, home visit medical service covering the areas of Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama. Professional and experienced doctors provide after hours, home visits for urgent, non-critical medical care which are bulk billed for Medicare card holders. A report of our visit is sent to your own Doctor.

Radio Doctor is a not for profit, membership organisation owned and operated by medical practitioners across the region. We have been providing high quality after hours care on behalf of our members since 1974. We are a fully AGPAL accredited medically deputising service.

Bookings can be made by calling 02 4228 5522 from 6pm weeknights and from 11am on Saturday and 24 hours on Public Holidays.

Please note we are not an emergency service and do not prescribe S8 drugs and can not treat bleeding injuries and wounds. If these apply in your case you should call the ambulance or attend the nearest emergency department.
