I used this builder back in 2011-12 to redo three bathrooms. The work from both him and his contractors was extremely sloppy. He took four times longer than he said he would to do the work and it was absolutely not to the required standard. There were countless problems. Showers that had the hot and cold plumbed in the wrong way. Leaks to the floor below. Toliet rolls knocked into the cold storage tanks up in the attic (I guess they had the toilet rolls because the attic gets hot in summer) which caused a blockage! Taps plumbed in as got(L) and cold(R) in one sink and the other way around in the sink next to it! Absolutely basic stupid errors. When we complained he got angry and told us the repair work for what needed to be done had to be carried out under the house insurance, so he wanted to be paid again to put right the things he and his tema had meseed up in the first place!! Unbelievable. Then he stopped taking our calls. Grham was the contractor and subbed a lot of it out to other firms. Most of the problems were caused by Premier Heating in Epsom but it was Graham who took the money, then refused to pay them, and refused to rectify certain of the issues without being paid again! As the main contractor, he has to take responsibility for his subcontractors, ensure a good job has been done, stop screwing his clients, and then trying to charge them again to put it right. It's just common business ethics and basic human decency. Needless to say we had to get another team to rectify all the problems at our own expense (it was never an insurance claim since it should have been done properly in the first place). I can wholeheartedly say I would not recommend Graham P Taylor of Kingswood in Surrey to anyone which is why I am putting this review up on the internet. Do not use this firm.
