We are a registered charity that has been inspiring, supporting and empowering women since 1974. As a leader in responding to the changing needs of women and the labour market, we contribute to women’s economic and social equality by helping them attain sustainable and satisfying employment. In a comfortable, supportive and accessible environment, welcoming of diversity and individual needs, women access free services, including individualized employment counselling, a resource centre, computer lab and workshops. A comprehensive workbook, developed in house, is used to assist clients in clarifying their skills, interests and values and to help create an action plan, leading to a career decision. Clients encourage each other but also find support through mentorship with professionals and through our career panels, leading to a growing confidence in their professionalism and skills. As our proven track record, and testimonials consistently demonstrate, clients are then positioned to obtain better employment or training.
