As Barrie and the surrounding area's population grew rapidly over the ensuing years, pressure on hospital resources mounted. Dr. Guirguis, in consultation with close colleagues and professional experts in Health Facility Design, began planning the creation of Lakeview Surgery Centre in September of 2008. His vision was to design a state-of-the-art surgery centre set on the tranquil shores of Kempenfelt Bay in Barrie. The centre had its open house on May 27, 2009. Dr. Guirguis and his staff were very encouraged by a very enthusiastic response from colleagues, nurses, family and friends at the launch of Lakeview Surgery Centre.

I had a great experience from beginning to end with Dr. Guirguis. I went to him for liposuction around my stomach. On my first consultation he spent a lot of time explaining everything and gave me his recommendations. He also listened to me and made me feel very comfortable. The day of surgery went very smoothly. I was nervous because I had never been under anesthesia before but Dr. Guirguis and his fantastic staff really made me feel safe and cared for the whole process. The results turned out exactly how I wanted. I love my new body! I definitely recommend Dr. Guirguis to anyone that wants the best results.
