Dr. Arthur Stubbs, DDS
Dr. Stubbs a native of Mississippi is a proud graduate of the Howard University College of Dentistry, where he received first- rate training in all aspects of general dentistry. His other educational credentials include University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he obtained his certification in Orofacial and Temporomandibular Disorders.
In 1983, Dr. Stubbs opened Lake Arbor Dental Associates, with the philosophy, "A healthy mouth makes a healthy body." Using this philosophy, Dr. Stubbs continues to be a proponent of maintain the optimum level of oral health by using patient education as a method of keeping his patients healthy.
Through the combination of sensible treatment plans and genuine devotion to the unique needs of each patient, Dr. Stubbs preserves healthy teeth and gums, alleviates oral discomfort and improves the appearance of smiles on a daily basis. He has applied his unique blend of technical skills and ability to create a calming environment to produce durable and aesthetic results in thousands of patients. A mature dentist with a grasp of the most innovative, minimally invasive new procedures, Dr. Stubbs is dedicated to lifelong learning through continuing education courses.
Because of his commitment to excellence in Dentistry, Dr. Stubbs is involved in educating new dental professionals. He also offers his knowledge and expertise in local publications including the WWJ (Washington Women's Journal). He is licensed by the District of Columbia Board of Dental Examiners and is a member of the American Dental Association.
