BrightPath

BrightPath Millrise has been serving the community for decades and is located in a well-established and quiet residential neighbourhood in the southwest of Calgary. The centre can be easily accessed off Macleod Trail and is a block away from the old Shawnessy Golf Course entrance on James Mckevitt Road.

Licensed and accredited, the centre offers 100 spaces for child care for 12-month to 5-year olds and before and after school care for 6 to 10-year olds. The director has been with the centre since well before it was ever a BrightPath facility and the centre prides itself on the extremely long serving staff. They inspire a feeling of being part of an extended family and it shows in the many children that enter the centre as infants and stay until they age out of the program at age 10.

The centre backs onto the giant Millrise Park which is actively used by the preschool, pre-K and the OSC age groups, utilizing the large green spaces, big playground, baseball diamond and soccer fields and providing an excellent opportunity for outdoor play outside of the centre play yards.
