Devil's Elbow at Moss Creek

A really great Hilton Head golf course. There are two 18 hole layouts; the North and South courses. We played the South course which according to a member, is slightly more open and has a slightly lower slope and course rating than the more challenging North course.

The pro shop staff was very pleasant and helpful and the course was in excellent condition, especially the greens. For someone used to fast bent greens, there was a little adjustment but their greens were in good shape and rolled true.

The layout takes one near or almost into the marsh areas and with the azaleas in full bloom (March) this was a beautiful venue to play. From the blue tees or the tips, it's a handful but worth the trip and the effort to play.

Great remembrance of Hilton Head.
