Dr. Helmuth Billy specializes in providing laparoscopic bariatric surgery as part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary weight-loss program from offices located in Thousand Oaks and Ventura, California. Services include bariatric surgeries such as the lap band, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and the ReShape Balloon. Dr. Billy also provides general surgery services and revision surgeries. Ventura Advanced Surgical Associates has brought together a group of specialists under one roof to create a program that will support our patients on their journey to health and wellness.
In addition to Dr. Billy, our team includes a Board Certified Pulmonologist and Board Certified Sleep Medicine Specialist, a Psychologist, a Registered Dietician, two Certified Bariatric Nurses, a Patient Support Facilitator, and a Physical Fitness team of personal trainers.
The follow-up program at Ventura Advanced Surgical Associates includes continued dietary education, three monthly support groups, daily exercises classes with a Physical Fitness team of personal trainers, and easy access to our nurses and physicians if you have questions. After surgery, patients who are interested may also enjoy the onsite offerings of Tre Jolie MediSpa, which features the Cutera Laser System for skin tightening, brightening, and rejuvenation, as well as hair removal and vein therapy. There is also an on-site esthetician offering facial treatments using ZO Skin Care products.
